Decathlon Büyükada Half Marathon: Hosted 3500 runners from 34 countries!

Decathlon Büyükada Half Marathon held on October 19; It took place with three different routes, 5K, 10K and 21K, with a record participation from Turkey and abroad.

In the internationally recognized World Athletics certified half marathon, runners had a unique experience with its route covering iconic spots such as Mizzi Mansion, Yalman Mansion and Dilburnu Nature Park, among the historical texture and natural beauties of Büyükada.

The rope team formed by Nicolas Jean (26) and Benjamin Védrines (33) set off again at the end of August to tackle one of the last great challenges of the Himalaya: Jannu East (7,468 m), in the Kangchenjunga region, at the far eastern edge of Nepal. Their goal: to open a new route on the north face, a 2,250-metre vertical wall, in pure alpine style — without oxygen, fixed ropes or external assistance.
