Rentals for Rubbish – the world is our playground, and it’s time to protect it!

At Decathlon, we believe that sport has the power to unite communities. 
Last month, we proudly partnered with Planet Patrol for Rentals for Rubbish, an initiative launched during World Cleanup Day. Over a 2-week mission, communities across the UK traded litter for discounts on sports equipment rentals.

Together, we logged 4,798 pieces of litter - 83% of which was plastic - helping to clean up our playgrounds and safeguard our oceans. Every action matters and we all have a role to play in reducing our impact on the planet. 

The mission continues. Let’s keep moving - for sport and future generations.

Wheelchair Rugby at the Paralympic Games has come to an end.

And while it wasn't the finish we hoped for, we're proud of our Decathlon Athlete, Jonathan Hivernat, for leading the French National Team to 5th place.

Wheelchair rugby is a sport of grit, determination, and relentless effort - a fast-paced and hard-hitting game that demands both physical and mental strength.
