New official Kipsta balls for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT

For the third consecutive year, Kipsta will supply the official match ball for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT in 2024-2025. These were revealed by the LFP (Professional Football League) and the brand DECATHLON.

Blue-White-Red with “flashes of genius” to salute these actions, these gestures, these acts of play where everything suddenly changes! The names of the French champions, as a tribute to past heritage, remain annotated on the new official Ligue 1 ball, distributed according to their geographical area on the national territory. An evolution of the balls used since 2022, the new version of the official Kipsta balls for Ligue 1 embodies a further improvement in the technologies already used by the brand. Thus, the twelve heat-sealed panels have their shape reworked. This cutout has been studied to further increase trajectory stability and speed restitution. All this without degrading the other qualities of these balls and preserving their excellent level of resistance.

Still identical in terms of development, the Ligue 2 BKT ball, however, is adorned with green and fluorescent yellow on a petroleum green background. Each entity displays the new graphic identity adopted for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT, the logos of which clearly identify the competitions.

Like last season, Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT will play with the same ball throughout the season. However, a new collector's ball with a specific design will be made for the day dedicated to Child Defenders. It will be used on a single day of the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT championships. The Champions Trophy ball will soon be revealed. 

The 2024-2025 Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT balls are already available at the price of 80 euros. It should be noted that the “replica” and “mini-balls” will for the first time have identical paneling to their counterparts. 

To meet the highest technical requirements, these balloons are at the cutting edge of technology. Thanks to the heat-sealing of their twelve polyurethane panels (balloon without sewing thread), they offer better sphericity and resistance. They thus provide heightened playing sensations thanks to the textured microfiber component accompanied by foam and grooves. An exclusive Kipsta design, their particular characteristic is great trajectory stability. Designed, tested and created in France, these balls, co-created with amateur and professional footballers, have the FIFA QUALITY PRO label.
