Decathlon and Ceracles Cooperative (formerly Groupe Sport 2000 France) sign a letter of intent to strengthen their connection with sports enthusiasts and local communities
Decathlon and Céraclès Coopérative (formerly Groupe Sport 2000 France) have announced the signing of a letter of intent regarding a proposed strategic partnership. This landmark project, based on Decathlon acquiring a stake in Sport 2000 France SAS – the service center and network head for the Céraclès Coopérative – forms part of a shared ambition: to better serve sportspeople of all levels and to strengthen ties with customers, clubs and local communities.
Discussions are currently under way, focusing in particular on how Decathlon and Céraclès Coopérative could capitalise on the complementary nature of their locations, product ranges and areas of expertise to offer an experience based on expert advice and tailored to local needs. The project, which relates solely to operations within France, will be subject to the applicable social procedures and approval by the relevant authorities. It is expected to be finalised once these processes have been completed.
