Sport creates impact. On and off the field.

At the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, our teams and KIPRUN joined conversations on the economic and social role of sport.

And those conversations came to life on the track.

Around 40 students from the French International School of Nairobi and partner schools supported by the Decathlon Foundation took part in a race organised by our teams and Kiprun at the University of Nairobi stadium.

Several athletes from Kiprun’s 42 House in Iten - our high-performance training center for runners - were there to inspire the next generation.

Edward Cheserek and Alice Chemtai also joined Presidents Macron and Ruto on the starting line to encourage the young runners.

Big shoutout to all the teams behind the scenes who made this moment possible, under a truly “Decathlon blue” Kenyan sky.

We believe that sport can take care of the planet.

That is why, on Earth Day, we share three concrete actions that we do at Decathlon to take care of it:
    - Maintenance and Repair — We try to ensure that your sports life is interrupted as little as possible together with our team of experts.
    - Buyback — We give you the possibility to sell the bike you no longer use that can be valuable to other people.
    - Second Life — We ensure the functionality and safety of used products or products with small aesthetic details and thus extend their useful life.

At Decathlon Chile we are committed to promoting actions that take care of the environmental impact of our operation, incorporating concrete, efficient and scalable solutions.

Proud of our nomination for the DS Smith Sustainability Award!

    - Impact at scale: Our offering has doubled to more than 10,000 unique products.

More than just a jump shot: DAKAR HOOPS is aiming for empowerment.

In 2024, the association distributed 1,000 basketballs to young girls across 10 different locations in Senegal.
Between baskets, DAKAR HOOPS uses sports as a vehicle to tackle vital issues like menstrual hygiene and professional integration for young women.

The goal remains the same: to get people moving.
